For all of you New York/metro readers out there: Brooklyn plus size boutique Lee Lee's Valise is hosting an Anna Scholz and Jessica Svoboda trunk show (with champagne!) Thursday, March 6 from 6 to 9 PM. Anna and Jessica will be previewing their Fall/Winter lines and of course there will be the opportunity to browse their Spring/Summer offerings currently being sold at the boutique. Lee Lee's says "We usually sell out of particular items and sizes quickly so we want to give you the opportunity to get a head start on the Fall/Winter 2008. We will be happy to reserve particular garments as we have done with Spring 2008. We will be taking advance orders on your favorite items for Fall/Winter after this sneak peak of what these great designers have to offer."

Lee Lee's Valise, please come and open a store in the SF Bay Area. There is nothing - I mean nothing - like you here, in this supposedly hip, open-minded town.
WOW. Just discovered your blog and really LOVE it! Already bookmarked!!! While surfing the pages I always thought about "TOO NORMAL FOR FASHION?". I think that plus size models will play a much larger role in fashion in future. It's a VERY slow process, but it at least is one. But what about NORMALOS!? I thought about modelling for some years but I simply am too "normal" sized. I am somehow stuck in between totally skinny and plus. Shall I starve or shall I eat ;-) No, seriously. It's so good to see healthy happy women and I really really love the Vogue paris spread with Crystal Renn... Please keep up the good work!
I'll be there!!!
Great post title.
(great blog as well, but witty post titles always make me chuckle)

I was just at Lee Lee's on Sunday and can also report that they are supposedly getting "a ton" of spring sundresses and the like in over the next month. Over 400 pieces, apparently!
And no, I'm not a shill...just a customer who is thrilled that Lee Lee is in Brooklyn.
I wish I was in New York. Are they going to open more stores?
